Café Rouge Highgate has been redesigned, and now celebrates Highgate's association with films and movie-making.
Vintage-style cinema seating has been added, while a bygone era of French film-making is displayed on the retro posters throughout the restaurant. Feature lighting is in the form of a custom made box light and camera floor lamp. The Grade II listed building has had a full exterior overhaul, with bi-fold windows added, creating a light, bright dining area.
Restaurant manager Dean Tilbury said: “With so many high profile regulars visiting Café Rouge Highgate, the movies seem a fitting theme for us. The restaurant really has been transformed, with my favourite addition being the fairy light-lit courtyard, which is now heated and covered, allowing for year-round al fresco dining."
