Bella Italia is opened a new £1m restaurant at a busy Berkshire retail park. The site opened for business on Monday 18 May, at the Bishop Centre, Taplow, close to the M4 motorway. At almost 4,000sq ft, the restaurant provides 145 internal and 20 external covers.
Situated between Maidenhead and Slough, the Bishop Centre is in a large, affluent catchment population of around 310,000 people. Featuring other household name retailers, the scheme is busy all day with shoppers, commuters and office workers who use it for convenience shopping and casual dining.
Phil Derbyshire, group property director at Casual Dining Group, which owns Bella, said: “This opening forms part of our out-of-town retail and leisure park growth plans for Bella Italia. We’re delighted to have partnered with scheme owner Land Securities to secure this opening, and are confident it’ll be a high quality addition to the growing Bella estate.”
Bella has signed a 15-year lease on the unit, which will be open all day, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.
