Café Rouge Cambridge has taken the wraps off its redesigned bistro celebrating Cambridge's famous association with le vélo!
With a nod to Cambridge's favourite form of a transport, a rouge bicycle has become a permanent fixture outside the restaurant, which is in a Grade II listed building dating from the 17th century. Dramatic velvet curtains welcome diners into the 147 cover restaurant, where they will be greeted with the centre piece of the design theme, a stunning bespoke bicycle wall mural.
Restaurant manager Vince Robinson said: “It's been wonderful to see the restaurant take shape over the last few weeks. We are a real staple and home-from-home for many regulars in Cambridge. The new designs have really given us that extra edge, and we look forward to showing off the new look Café Rouge."
