Casual Dining Group brand Las Iguanas has opened its latest restaurant – at the new Bond Street development in Chelmsford, Essex, its 55th site.
Las Iguanas joins better burger brand Byron, Azzurri Group-owned ASK Italian, The Restaurant Group-owned Coast to Coast, and Bill’s Restaurant at the £150m complex, which also features a John Lewis store and Everyman Cinema.
The restaurant features the new Las Iguanas winter menu, which includes additions to the tapas offerings, including taco planks and corn and habanero fritters. New desserts include Kahlua chocolate cortado, while new cocktails have been added, including the Watermelon Margarita (Olmeca Tequila with watermelon and lime).
Last month, Las Iguanas submitted plans to open another Essex restaurant, this time in Greytown House, close to High Street in Colchester town centre. The company hopes to open the venue next year and create 40 jobs.
